Vision

The Mission of God (Missio Dei)

The mission of God (Missio Dei) is the overarching, biblical narrative of reclaiming and restoring all of creation—marred by sin and idolatry—to reflect His glory. It is a holistic mission, encompassing the redemption of humanity through Jesus Christ and the restoration of the created order, with the church playing a participatory role.

The Khosas' mission cannot be separated from the mission of God. We are playing our participatory role in restoring God's created order by giving of ourselves entirely to a life of gospel ministry.

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?"

Restoration begins with man being reconciled to God through faith in Christ. The Khosa family endeavors to share the gospel, so that through hearing people may believe, and through teaching and discipling, they too can teach and disciple. One person at a time, one ministry at a time.

Mission Breakdown: Three Pillars

Training Godly Men

Kevin's involvement at ICBM is an integral part of our family ministry. Healthy churches require Godly leaders. ICBM endeavours to produce God-fearing men who faithfully live in accordance with and teach the truths of Scripture. More men need to be trained to properly interpret and preach God's Word.

Training Godly Women

Women who come alongside these ministry leaders ought to be equipped with Biblical tools to faithfully disciple and teach women within their congregations. Gomolemo desires to develop courses and workshops to equip women to teach, train, and disciple other women (Titus 2:3-5).

Planting & Revitalizing Healthy Churches

Healthy churches must be planted and struggling churches revitalized. The Khosa family works towards church-planting with the hope of growing self-sustaining churches that will in turn plant others across Southern Africa.
